So thankful for this little blessing today....
We went to a big barn sale today and bought a few treasures, but also got this crock that they were giving away for FREE.
The little old lady who was giving it away told me that she had found it on an old homestead in the county when she was a ten years old. It was broken into pieces, so she brought it all home and glued it back together, and treasured it for years because of the memories it brought back.
I'm thankful to own this little piece of history, and for the generous spirit that shared it with me.
My folks had these when I was a kid. Kept kindling for the wood stove in one and fireplace tools in the other. So earthy.
